Vriesea 'Red Russian'

Vriesea 'Red Russian' is a cultivar of VR. fosteriana of unknown origin. This gorgeous plant concentrates its red color at the center of the rosette, but can blush completely red with the right light and growing conditions. To get the most color out of this one, I recommend mounting on a large solid piece of hard wood. This one can get quite large, up to 30" across, when planted in a large pot, although it will average much smaller, 18" - 20",  when mounted.
