Tillandsia fasiculata 'Tropiflora' Is a large Tillandsia originally named and listed by the Cathcarts, owners of Tropiflora nursery. They actually believe it to be a natural hybrid of Till. fasiculata and Till. compressa that they collected on a field trip in Jamaica. This specimen has a very large and colorful inflorescence that is especially notable for its long lasting, Up to a year, color and form. A mostly grey green color, sometimes blushing red on the leaf tips when exposed to high intensity sunlight. Averages about 18" wide and 18" tall at maturity
