Billbergia 'Tres Bien' has a compact, bushy, leafy rosette that can sometimes resemble an Aechmea more than a Billbergia. This Hybrid of 'Ed McWilliams' x sanderiana can become an intense maroon red to an almost complete purple depending on it's lighting conditions and environment. Completely lacks any white mottling typical of most Billbergia Hybrids.Typical mature size is around to 14" in height.
