Ananus cosomus 'Bitter Chocolate' (Variegated) is a cross of Chocolate X cosomus var. ananassoides. Strictly ornamental in nature, this member of the Pineapple family is highly colorful with red leaf centers and it's chocolate colored leaf edges. It will also produce a somewhat small but colorful miniature pineapple at the end of a long Inflorescence. It ranges in size from 18" - 36" in height.
