A very desirable form of the Species pineliana. This Cultivar grows quite large and can become intensely red when grown in very strong light. The specimen shown in the pictures is exhibiting more green coloration due to the fact that it now resides in almost full shade. Averages between 24" - 30" tall when given sufficient room and pot size. Also excellent in the landscape. Inflorecense is interesting but not as showy as many Aechmeas.
