Aechmea chantinii 'Rebecca' is a beautiful Cultivar with heavily frosted banding that appears more pronounced than chantinii and a green upright shape. Although it can be somewhat temperamental about it's growing conditions, (likes it warm with moderately high humidity) it is well worth the effort. With a good supply of time-release fertilizer at it's root base, this plant can grow to very large proportions. Averages 24" -30" high and 16" - 18" across. A gorgeous Inflorescence is the final reward for growing this plant.
