Aechmea caudata 'Yellow' is named 'Yellow' because of its beautiful yellow inflorescence rather than the color of its leaves. Having a form sometimes like a Neoregelia more than that of an Aechmea, this cultivar has broad yellow-green leaves with a blunted leaf end combined with the deep maroon to almost purple leaf tips and spotting. It prefers intense filtered light for best coloring. Averages 12"-14" across.
