Aechmea caudata 'Patches' gets its name from the deep almost black splashes of color across its leaf surfaces. It is a most unusual yet striking form of Aechmea caudata. Shown with beautiful orange Inflorescence Likes very intense filtered light for best coloring. Similar to A, caudata 'Santa Catarina' but with somewhat ore elongated leaves and deep almost black patches across the leaf surfaces. Averages 14" -16" across.
