Neoregelia 'Yin'

Neoregelia 'Yin' is a cross of carolinae x carcharodon Albo-Marginated introduced by Chester Skotak. In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang describes how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Chester has taken these names and applied them to two clones of the same lineage, one Albo-Marginated (yin) and one varegated (Yang). Both are very large growers (can attain "GIANT" size of up to 24" across) that have the size and form of carcharodon but the coloring of carolinae.
