Neoregelia 'UFO' is a cross of (carolinae variegated x Hannibal Lecter) x [(Tiger Cub x lilliputiana) x Small Fry] x Oliveira Sao Fidelis. This nice little Skotak hybrid has green leaves with creamy yellow stripes (flushed pink), red spots and some cross-banding on the obverse. The reverse foliage is heavily cross-banded red and the full rosette has no cup blush at blooming. This miniature Neo averages 4" - 5" across and just 6" high. Needs strong filtered light for best color.
