Neoregelia 'Super Aztec' x 'Skotak's Tiger' is a select carcharodon Hybrid from Michael Kiehl that brings out the best of both parents in the cross. A rich blend with a very desirable form, nice overall reddish-purple color with green spotting that covers the leaf surface and an exceptional ruggedness of form, reminiscent of a carcharodon cultivar. Really more purple than red as the picture shows. A large Neo that tops out between 20" - 24" across. This is one of four secret treasures that almost no one knows about and sometimes I think that I'd like to keep it that way. You might call these one of our "buried" treasures.
