Neoregelia 'Shelldance' is a controversial and strange plant considered to be most likely a cultivar of Neoregelia 'Fairy Paint'. This Neo is unusual in the fact that it rarely blooms but just continues to put out new leaves. The leaves grow in a spiral pattern and the stem can grow over a foot in length. It is quite uncommon and makes a very special addition to any collection. Averaging 14" - 16" across, it can grow from 12" - 16" tall without blooming. Its coloring consists of a light lime green leaf surface with red leaf edges and leaf tips. This one can be kept in a little more shad and still maintain a beautiful color and appearance. Highly recommended!
