Neoregelia 'Red Glaze' is a cross of [(carolinae variegated x Skotak's Tiger) x (Blushing Tiger] x Skotak's Tiger.)] Another Skotak introduction that is sure to please. The picture below shows a less than mature specimen but gives a good idea of the delicious color combinations of this interesting hybrid. A delightful albo-margiated beauty with green leaf centers and red glaze throughout the leaf. At maturity, this plant will have a much fuller form and an even darker richer red glaze, sometimes showing a hint of zonation or banding on the leaf surfaces. A large grower averaging 16" - 18" at maturity.
