Introduced by Grace Goode, 'Pheasant' is a Cultivar from Australia of unknown lineage. This mini-Neoregelia was named after a bird that has an extremely showy appearance. It can change colors based on season, light intensity and fertilization. Its size, growing up to 6" across, shape, and basic markings will cause most to guess that one of its parents was Neo. punctatissima. 'Pheasant' is a semi-prolific pupper and a very worthy addition to your mini-Neo collection.
