Neoregelia pauciflora 'Purple' is a cultivar of pauciflora with a decidedly purple overtone to its heavily spotted leaf surfaces. This very attractive stoloniferous variant is a fast grower and very prolific pupper. Attractive in bothe hanging baskets and mounted on tree or other wood surfaces. This cultivar is a little larger than the average pauciflora averaging about 10" across. Likes a well lighted environment.
