Neoregelia 'Maverick' is a cross of (carolinae Variegated x johannis) x 'Royal Cordovan'. It's Pinkish-purple coloring blushes across the entire leaf surface . It is a very highly desirable plant with it's very colorful blush and light concentric rings reminicent of it's johannis lineage. This specimen can become a "GIANT NEOREGELIA" attaining mature sizes of up to 20" to 24" across.
