Neoregelia 'Skotak's Code Red' is a cross between ((carolinae variegated x 'Hannibal Lecter') x 'Tiger Cub') x 'Punctate Red' x 'Alley Cat' x 'Punctate Red'. Notice the seed parent is the hybrid named 'Unraveled'. This Skotak cross is aptly named as the olive green leaves with a broad creamy white variegation blushes a deep cherry red when grown under strong filtered light. Add to this, the Skotak trade mark deep red zonation and the mini Neo is a winner. Averages 6" - 8" wide at maturity.
