Neoregelia 'Skotak's Tiger' x 'Norman Bates' is a dark and brooding example of a cross using two heavily banded parents. This specimen can become a "GIANT NEOREGELIA" attaining mature sizes of up to 24" to 28" across. What makes this an exceptional plant are a combination of: of course the leaf banding but also the bright red highlights when grown in morning sun along with the extremely glossy leaf surfaces. This is really a spectacular hybrid.
