Neoregelia 'Apollo's Poetry' is a cross of 'Emily' X 'carcharodon Rainbow'. This Hybrid has wonderful deep wine colored horizontal banding that contrasts beautifully with the yellow-green background of the leaf. Similar to 'Hannibal Lecter' with it's banding pattern, this Hybrid is much more pleasing with it's highly glossy leaf surfaces. Prefers intense filtered light. Larger than a 'Lambert's Pride, it reaches on average from 16" - 20" across.
