Neomea 'Calypso' is a cross of Ae tessmannii Rubra X Neo carcharodon Silver.In Greek mythology, Calypso was a nymph who seduced Odysseus. This Bi-generic has a very seductive charm of it's own. This cross is unique to Bromeliad Paradise and is available in a very limited release. A somewhat upright posture but displays a tendency to spread out more like a Neo. Stunning reddish-pink coloration on the under-leaf and on top of the leaf surface as well as the leaf matures. It also displays the silvery characteristics of carcharodon Silver. This cross is so recent that it has yet to infloresce. Can grow up to 24" high and 24" across.
