Neoregelia 'Pimiento' is a cross of (carolinae x concentrica) X ('Royal Burgundy' X 'Royal Burgundy'). An outstanding Hybrid whose dark leaf margins surrounding a bright crimson red stripe make this a real stunner. It is sure to stand apart in your collection and get a lot of attention from plant admirers. Although considered to be a medium sized Neo, with a little time release fertilizer and some room to expand, I have seen specimens reach 18" - 20" across.
