Neoregelia 'Red Dot' is a cultivar of unknown origin. It is obviously a cross or cultivar of Neoregelia ampullacea. A miniature plant of olive green with red dots on the leaf surfaces. It will usually flush a bright yellow if given strong filtered light and starved of nitrogen fertilizer. Averages about 6" tall at maturity.
