An interesting Cultivar, Neoregelia cruenta, 'Silver' is as it's name implies, has very frosty silver leaf surfaces. The bright red leaf tips stand out from the crowd. It's shape is more tubular and upright than a standard form of cruenta. It makes for an excellent landscape variety in that it handles full sun environments with ease. Reaches on average from 14" – 16" across at maturity.
