Neoregelia 'Black Forest', originally called 'Oeser's #111', is a Cultivar of an unknown Oeser derived Hybrid. Dr. Oeser was a German pioneer of Bromeliad Hybridization with many of his Hybrids still much in favor in the hobby. This cross provides a deep deep almmost black in some instances with light green spotting. Other attributes include, large numbers of gracefully arching shiny leaves. Averages 18" -20" across.
