Aechmea 'Frappuccino' is a Hybrid with unknown heritage but most likely containing chantinii as one of its parents.. Its leaves are a dark green to chocolate brown with burgundy on the undersides and silver banding. It has an upright form reaching 20" - 24" high and 12" - 15" across while the Inflorescence is on a spike of dark red bracts with red and yellow branches. This bloom can last a very long time making it a popular indoor plant as well.
