Aechmea blanchetiana 'Lemon'is a cultivar that can be distinguished from others by it's bright lemon color when grown in full sun. It has a somewhat wider leaf than blanchetiana 'Lemonade'. It also can be distinguished by more compact size. When in a juvenile stage, or grown in shade or soft filtered light, 'Lemon' will have a softer lime coloration although it will attain it's beautiful lemon yellow color somewhat faster than 'Lemonade' . Attains sizes of up to 36" across and 36" wide.
