Aechmea fasciata x Aechmea blanchetiana is a Hybrid that is new to the hobby. The growth habit most resembles the Blanchetiana parent but with slightly more compact and rounded leaf tips like that of it's fasciata parent. In strong filtered light, the plant will exhibit a beautiful red-orange blush. The Inflorescence resembles that of Ae. faciata making for a rather strange appearance. A large grower averaging 36" across and 36" high when flowering.
