Neoregelia 'Backstabber' is a cross of (carolinae variegated "red" x lactea) x magdalenae (white-flowered form). 'Backstabber' is a another Skotak hybrid with a very colorful past. This plant has so much color, it practically glows! This variegated beauty blushes a vibrant reddish-pink that contrast beautifully with its much darker red leaf edges, Not easy to find, this plant begs to be in the finest collections. A medium sized plant averaging 14" -16" at maturity.
