Neoregelia 'Takizawa Princeps', a cross of (carolinae x concentrica) x ('King of Kings' x concentrica) is what I consider in a class called Giant Neoregelia. This Variegated Hybrid can grow to enormous proportions and gets a very nice reddish-purple blush when given intense light that definitely makes this Neo. stand out. This plant exhibits a high intensity leaf gloss plus a very desirable leaf form. A very large sized Neo that tops out between 24" - 36" across.
