Neoregelia 'Dr Odean' is a more colorful cultivar of the hybrid "Mister Odean'. A cross of Neo 'Roy x Neo 'Roy', this special selection is intensely colored in an overall deep mauve on the leaf surfaces with concentric zonation that is almost black in color. The overall form is very pleasing with its tight rosette of wide leaves. A somewhat slow grower that is worth the wait. In fact we waited a long time to be able to finally list some of the very special Neos.
