Neoregelia 'Don Vitus' is a cross of carcharodon #2 x johannis. An excellent example of what happens when you cross two magnificent specimens. Because these pictures were taken of the plant when it was just a juvenile, these pictures just can't do justice to the rich colors that can be seen on this beauty. Especially pleasing is the full form and wide sturdy leaves of this Hybrid. Much fuller form than a typical johannis. Considered a "Giant", this Cultivar reaches similar size to johannis of up to 28" across.
