Neoregelia 'Alpha Rose' is a cross of 'Meyendorfii' x 'Marble Throat'. A beautiful Hybrid with the very desirable fullness of shape of Meyendorfii and the complex coloring of 'Marble Throat'. It has the added feature of of 'Meyendorfii' where the center turns a deep red rose color when in bloom. A medium size grower which attains a size of between 14" - 16" across.
