Aechmea rubens is a pleasing species from Brazil that has a very colorful and long lasting Inflorescence. Although mostly a green to lime-green in overall color, this hardy Species can blush with red around it's wide leaf edges and leaf tips when grow in full sun. A most pleasing plant that is excellent in the landscape. Attains sizes of up to 36" high and 36" wide.
