Neoregelia 'Morona' is a cross of pendula X rosea and was introduced by Chester Skotak. Chester Skotak is a world-renowned Bromeliad expert living and breeding plants in Costa Rica. Looking more like a small Aechmea than a Neoregelia, this stoloniferous and very spiny oddity transforms from a solid green to a lusty bronze when bombarded by strong filtered light. Averages 6" wide and 6" tall. Excellent for mounting.
