Tillandsia brachycaulous abdita is a plant that is wrought with mystery and misinterpretation. Despite the often confusion over its name in the trade, this is a very desirable plant. Because of its habit of blushing an amazing deep, deep red when in bloom, this plant is most often available with a floral red tint that demonstrates that color. Regardless of the tint or not, this is one beautiful plant just based upon the gorgeous form and habit of its leaves. A small to medium plant that is capable of reaching from 5" - 7" across at maturity.
