Bromeliad Paradise Exclusive
Helios is the Greek Sun god, whom the Romans called Sol. Aechmea Helios is a cross of chantinii De Leon X tessmanii Rubra that is exclusive to Bromeliad Paradise. With a classic upright form, it has leaves that start out with a beautiful blush of intense red and horizontal banding on the upper leaf surface. It also provides a deep rich red and a silver frosty horizontal banding on the leaf under surface. Prefers a very intense light such as 30% - 50% shade cloth. It can grow up to 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. It has a Inflorescence that is quite exceptional.
