Aechmea gamosepala is a highly prolific Species that has a very attractive Inflorescence. It is much used as a landscape plant because of its very attractive light green leaves and its natural proclivity to establish large clumps of blooming plants. Surprisingly tolerant of sunny areas especially if kept well watered. Offered here is a Cultivar topping out at about 12" in height.
