Native to Brazil, Aechmea faciata is probably the best known Species in the genus. It is often grown as a houseplant and is prized for it's exceptional Inflorescence that can last up to six months. It can grow up to 12–24 in in height, and reach up to 20" across. Fasciata requires good strong filtered light to bloom but can tolerate long periods of time indoors if adequate indoor light is provided.
Special cultivar that will attain extra large inflorescence. Plants shipped not yet in bloom.
