Aechmea blanchetiana 'Variegated' is a most desirable and unusual blanchetiana can be distinguished from other lightly Variegated blanchetianas by it's bright white (blushes pink in sunlight) variegation as opposed to the lighter variegation on other varieties including 'Rainbow". As stated, the variegation blushes a pleasing bright pink when given some direct sun. It has a somewhat narrower leaf than blanchetiana 'Rainbow'. Attains sizes of up to 48" tall and 40" wide.
