Neoregelia 'Elaine'is believed to be a hybrid originating from the now defunct Color Zone Nursery. As with most all Neos from Color Zone, this plant has lots of color and shiny leaves. Growing into a tight rosette at maturity, this cross shows its carolinae heritage with its deep red center at inflorescence. For extra added color, it also gets very nicely colored red leaf tips. This one prefers a more shady place and can flourish indoors better than most Neos. Averages 16" - 18" at maturity.
