It’s currently the dead of an extreme winter, but take heart, spring is just around the corner. The country is experiencing cold temperatures and above average rainfall, but here in Naples, Florida we are enjoying what is turning out to be an exceptionally warm winter.

2016 will be an exciting time here at Bromeliad Paradise. That is because we have just acquired over 1000 new bromeliads to add to our on-line offerings. The stock was acquired from a Fort Myers, Florida based nursery and internet provider who has recently left the business.

A Lafayette, Louisiana native and petroleum engineer, Don Beadle revolutionized the long ignored Billbergia genus of bromeliads.  Don’s love affair with Billbergias began when he was building his business, Macero Minerals in Corpus Christi, Texas. He and his neighbor, John Anderson began a friendship that eventually began his path into his bromeliad passion.
