Neoregelia 'Baby Chester' is a Chester Skotak hybrid originally imported to the United States by Michael Kiel. Originally labeled as "Skotak's Hybrid #9", this unregistered hybrid got it's name due to it look somewhat like a smaller version of the Sotack hybrid 'Chester'. This "version" of 'Chester is perfect for those growers with limited space. Like it's namesake, this beauty has leaves of green with a deep maroon blush that intensifies with strong filtered light. Averaging 14" - 16" across at maturity, this is ones gorgeous Neo.
