This Hohenbergia has some very favorable characteristics with its beautiful compact and upright form and wide, stiff leaf structure that comes to a distinctive somewhat re-curved point. This Hohenbergia will start to show a strong purple mottling moving to a complete purple color when given some direct morning or afternoon sun. Inflorescence is not a stunner but totally appropriate foe the plant . Another great feature of this plant is that it is smaller than most Hohenbergias, attaining sizes of only 18" tall and 16" wide making it more desirable for those with limited space. A very rugged yet lovely species.
